From the day we brought Spanky home he was the goofiest and sweetest dog we have ever known. Technically he was our son Tyler’s dog, but he truly belonged to all of us. He was so laid back and happy to do whatever you wanted, especially if food was involved :>) He would even let the other dogs take a toy or bone from right between his front paws and never even growled. For being a water dog, he was not very interested in water except for his baby pool in the back yard which he used to cool off his belly. And he loved people!
He managed to stay mobile until his last day despite severe hip dysplasia. The morning he could not stand on his own we knew it was time. Now he can run and play pain free and is reunited with his buddies Buddy, Gertie and Peaches.
